I am delighted to announce the dual promotion of Ben Lloyd and Sam Knowles as Joint Managing Directors of Echo's UK Operation.

Ben has been with Echo for over five years, leading our work across the Consumer and Technology Sectors. During this time, Ben has progressed rapidly, enthusiastically and always with a warm sense of humour. He has delivered a number of award-winning projects, and his current clients include BA, BT, KFC, McDonald's, Nedbank, and VMWare. With a strong understanding of Echo's research procedures, ISO systems, and individual team members, Ben will focus on the internal delivery of Echo's work for clients.

Sam, joined Echo last September as our Integrated Services Director, providing the essential link between Echo's reputation and research work with Ebiquity's many services and developing our joint Marcoms Vital Signs offering. Prior to joining Echo, Sam worked in PR consultancy for more than 20 years, in strategic, planning and business development roles. Originally a Classics graduate, Sam also holds a doctorate in Experimental Psychology, giving him a rich understanding of human motivation and behaviour. With his track record of strategic business development with blue chip national and multi-national brands, Sam will lead Echo's sales efforts for the UK team.

Both Ben and Sam will report into me as Group CEO, as I turn more attention to our global clients and operations.
