
Nigel is an accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a lecturer on the CIPR's MA Postgraduate Diploma in Public Communications at Leeds University. After a Modern Languages degree from Oxford University, Nigel taught with the British Council in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, then becoming editor and author in the language communications division of Oxford University Press.
Much of his professional life was spent in a high-technology branch of the energy industry, where he was responsible for market research, advertising, publications, exhibitions and other outreach. Nigel speaks French, German and Bulgarian. Books include Function in English, Career Prospects and Career Developments.
