Regular TV and radio commentator on both sides of the Atlantic, Stryker McGuire is a contributing editor at Newsweek magazine, where he was a correspondent, bureau chief and editor for 30 years, the editor of the London School of Economics and Political Science research magazine and the founding editor of International Quarterly. In 1996, McGuire's cover story for Newsweek "London Rules" is credited as the first piece of journalism to herald the return of "Cool Britannia" . His coverage of immigration issues earned the Best Foreign Reporting award from the Foreign Press Association, and he is a frequent contributor to such publications as The Guardian, The Observer, The New Statesman and The Spectator. | |
