About 75,000 blogs are created everyday and 50,000 are updated every hour! Blogs are part of everyday life the world over. Be it a passing fashion or a real tool of communication, the blogosphere is now also part of the French Presidential election campaign landscape, and, more than ever before, has become an influential & widely used tool for both political parties and individuals.
Building on its previous experience in political communication research undertaken in 1997, 2001 and 2002, Echo Research, a company which specializes in reputation and image analysis, is producing a weekly dashboard on the French Presidential Election 2007, communicating and highlighting the main trends of the campaign as perceived by bloggers in UK, USA and France. The Echo Dashboard will be published from March 26th to May 9th 2007.
