Communications Effectiveness

Is a new PR strategy going to work when you launch it? How well did it work? Do all your communication tools resonate with audiences the right way? And your branding? How will you need to adjust (or "glocalise") the strategy for culturally different markets?

An Echo communication audit signals all these things, and more.

Echo Case Study:Global NGO aligns media communications with journalists' concerns

One of the world's best-known non-governmental organisations (NGO) sought to improve its targeting and communication performance among influential media editors and correspondents.

Journalists were invited to participate in a live web link online survey created by Echo to better understand their interests and communication preferences.

Journalists outlined information they would prize most, including expert opinions that can convincingly express how interconnected climate change is with habitat and species loss - with speed of expected response being vital. Journalists also gave comparative ratings to the client on such key qualifiers as knowledge of issues, quality of spokespeople, timely press releases, regularity of contact between journalists and the NGO's Press Team.

The quality of media reporting and the media relationship with the NGO have risen as a result of these clear 'echoes' and guidance from the correspondents themselves.
