Newsclip’s MD gives feedback on First European Summit on measurement for SA
Newsclip MD, Simon Dabbs, attended the First European Summit on Measurement, supported by AMEC (the Association of Measurement; Evaluation; and Communication) in association with the IPR (Institute for Public Relations), held from 10 to 12 June in Berlin, Germany. Dabbs gave his feedback on the Summit at a packed PRISA presentation on Tuesday, 14 July at PRISA House, Randburg. During the feedback session, Dabbs highlighted global best of practice in media measurement and evaluation, which is centred around the pre-determination of the outcomes-base of a specific campaign. He also touched on the fact that globally, while we are all feeling the pinch of the recession, there has been a substantial increase in campaign measurement requirements, as companies are looking more closely at their campaigns, and whether they are measured against specific outcomes.

Americans Get Low Marks On Hygiene
It’s a unstudied however forcible message: Wash your hands to stop the spread of disease. But in what way many of us heed that message? Apparently, not enough. Hand washing plays key role in preventing spread of cold and flu
We all hear it - that little voice reminding us to wash our hands after we cough, sneeze, or use the bathroom. Sadly, we don't always listen.
A recent survey conducted by Echo Research for the Soap and Detergent Association found only 85 per cent of respondents say they always wash their hands after using the bathroom, down from 92 per cent in a previous survey conducted in 2006.

Pour cela, il faut avoir recours à une étude de la communication pertinente qui identifie les thèmes émergents et vise à améliorer la compréhension des composantes de la réputation. À la question des participants : "La réputation de l'entreprise peut-elle être mesurée ?" La réponse d'Echo était claire et nette : Oui.>>

le 21 novembre. L'AMEC (Association of Media Evaluation Companies), située au Royaume-Uni, est l'association européenne des cabinets d'étude des médias.
Echo a raflé le Prix Platine et une médaille d'or grâce à ses tableaux de bord mensuels des médias pour le service de police du Surrey. La société a aussi remporté deux autres médailles d'or pour ses indicateurs de la réputation dans la catégorie "Innovation" et pour ses analyses mondiales des médias effectuées pour MAC Cosmetics dans la catégorie "Communication à l'international".

L'investissement en Responsabilité Sociale est au point mort aux États-Unis. malgré la croissance de la RSE à travers le monde. Les sociétés américaines sont très en retard par rapport à leurs homologues européens, australiens et sud-africains en matière de Responsabilité Sociale des Entreprises (RSE), selon une récente étude publiée par Echo Research, cabinet spécialisé dans les audits et l'analyse de la réputation. Bien que les multinationales américaines soient leaders en philanthropie, ils n'ont toujours pas compris l'importance de la RSE, c'est à dire de l'investissement en responsabilité sociale à travers le monde, indiquait l'étude.
