Echo Chamber 2019, New York - Business as a force for good?

Private round-table breakfast

15th October 2019 - New York, Peppercomm

With growing activism and demand for greater societal impact, people are either targeting businesses, or turning to business to help drive necessary change.

Are business responding appropriately enough?  Should business engage, and if so, how?  How do you assess and advise on the dual risk of action vs inaction?

The private round-table breakfast on ‘business as a force for good’ was led by Echo Research CEO Sandra Macleod, Peppercomm’s founder Steve Cody and AMGEN CCO Ray Jordan.

Sandra set the scene with Echo’s latest research examining business and consumer views about capitalism and activism; Steve shared the learnings from Peppercomm’s Purpose Stress Test helping companies navigate the dangers of reputational risk, and Ray discussed his experience on how best to engage peers and Board members on such issues.
