Echo Chamber 2019, London - How to be a better leader

  • How To Be a Better Leader by Stefan Stern

26th March 2019 - London, The Ivy Club

Following on from his book on ‘Myths of Management’, FT correspondent Stefan Stern shared his research findings on what it means to be a leader. He covered what good and bad leadership looks like, the different ways in which men and women lead, the language of leadership and, crucially, how to get nearer to genuine equality at work.

Opening with Echo's perspectives on how the Most Admired Companies across the FTSE250 have performed on Quality of Management and Inspirational Leadership, the event was facilitated by Echo’s Advisory Board member, Alan Leaman, former Chief Executive, Management Consultancies Association.
