Echo delighted to appoint Neil Sherlock CBE as Non Executive Chair

Neil Sherlock CBE has taken the role as Non-Executive Chairman of Echo Group Limited, which owns the Echo Research operations in the UK and USA, along with Britain’s Most Admired Companies study.

The former partner at PwC and KPMG, Neil served in the Coalition Government as a special adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister covering business, Europe and constitutional issues.

Sandra Macleod, group CEO of Echo said:  “as the demand for Echo’s full-service brand and reputation research capabilities grows, from global social listening and competitive benchmarking to high-end stakeholder studies and reputation audits, sound and strategic management will help us achieve our potential.  Neil brings with him great experience and deep insight spanning the public and private sectors, critical at this time of transformation and challenge.”

Neil was a member of the Armed Forces Pay Review Board, chair of Working Families, trustee of Demos and former President of the Oxford Union beating Boris Johnson. Neil is currently Joint Chair of the French Chamber of Commerce Brexit Forum, on the Advisory Board of New Philanthropy Capital, Senior Advisor to PwC and a Trustee of National Literacy Trust.
