ESG reporting and compliance

London, 23 March 2023

Join us on Thursday 23rd March 2023, for the next in our series of ESG Breakfast briefings, looking at the operational and reputational drivers of ESG within business.

We are focusing our attention this time on how emerging regulation and reporting standards are shaping the way organisations approach their environmental, social and corporate governance commitments.  ESG has many detractors and a common charge against its broader adoption is a lack of transparent and consistent regulation and reporting standards. Amongst many topics, we will therefore debate whether the regulation and reporting corner has now been turned,  if ESG is even auditable and if we have time to build governance infrastructure when so many of the issues demand immediate and significant attention?

As on previous occasions this debate will be held as an open Question Time style discussion in front of an invited audience.

Moderated by Matthew Gwyther, ex-Editor of Management Today, our panel will include:

  • Mark Byatt, Director of External Affairs, IFRS Foundation
  • Giles Gibbons, Founder and CEO, Good Business
  • Marcia Balisciano, Head of Corporate Responsibility, RELX
  • Tarquin Henderson, Director, ESG Practice, Echo Research

We are delighted to be partnering with RELX plc, the FTSE 100 information and analytics company for this meeting. RELX are hosting us at their amazing London Headquarters, 1-3 The Strand, WC2N 5JR.  The meeting will commence at 8:30am with breakfast and will conclude by 11am.
