Echo supports new disability research informing House of Lords discussion

We’re proud to have supported disability think tank, Insightful Disability, on an important study exploring the experiences and perspectives of disabled people living in London and the South East.
The study explored views and experiences across a range of areas affecting everyday life, providing timely evidence to support wider discussion around the issues that matter to disabled people.
The findings helped inform Insightful Disability’s recent event at the House of Lords, which brought disabled people’s perspectives into the debate on assisted dying ahead of the Second Reading of Lauren Edwards MP’s Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill.
