Dr. Anne Gregory is Emeritus Professor of Corporate Communication at the University of Huddersfield, is one of the UK’s leading communication academics.

Anne runs international executive education programmes for clients such as the Rotterdam School of Management and BI Business School in Oslo on strategic communication and leadership.  She co-leads the UK Government Masters programme for senior communicators, drawing participants from all major Government Departments and Agencies. Her specialisations are in Government communication, AI, ethics, evaluation and strategic communication. She is author of over 150 books, book chapters, academic and popular journal articles.

Professor Gregory is an internationally acclaimed researcher, directing the seven continent team developing the Global Capability Framework for the profession. She is currently working with the World Health Organisation (Europe) developing a similar Capability Framework for those communicators involved in health emergencies.

Professor Gregory is former Chair of the Global Alliance of Public Relations and Communication Management, past President of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and holds the Sir Stephen Tallents Medal for her outstanding contribution to the profession.  In 2024 she was awarded the European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPRERA) Distinguished Scholar Award for significant research contributions to the field of public relations and communication management, and AMEC’s prestigious Don Bartholomew Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to AMEC, and to the wider measurement and evaluation industry.

Outside of work, Anne is a keen walker, current affairs addict and an avid Archers fan.
